Katie's Big Cattle Drive
October 16, 2004 - Up on the Mesa near Grand Junction, Colorado

They start out on the private property owned by the Currier family. The land to the far left and on up the mountain is owned by the Federal Government and leased for grazing cattle through the BLM [Bureau of Land Management]. They are on the way up to the high pasture to find the cattle. |

 Cattle found are being moved down the mountain to the corral. |

Found about 50 head on this day and they sorted and loaded 17 head to take down into the Grand Junction valley before winter sets in. |
 "Going to stay on that horse all day Katie?" I answered: "Yup! I don't know if I could get back on. So, I'll wait until it's time to unsaddle." |
